Recap of our June 25th meeting

Thank you to those who joined us for our summer member meeting and interactive discussion, Respect for People in Construction. 

This meeting we explored, "What does Respect for People mean in the construction industry?" Our speakers were Nichole Guilfoy with Providence Health Plan, and John Strickland with Collaborative Flow.

Meeting Presenters

Nichole Guilfoy is an experienced Total Worker Health practitioner and consultant, with expertise in human resources, safety, well-being, organizational development, and communication. She provides evidence-based education, coaching, and strategic support to organizations across the Pacific Northwest. Nichole has a Bachelor of Science degree from Portland State University where she focused her studies on public health and Industrial/Organizational Psychology.

John Strickland has been a pioneer in bringing innovative thinking to the Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) industry with passion for workplace safety, learning, innovation and creating smooth flow based on Lean project delivery principles. His track record as a senior construction manager included a series of breakthrough projects in the areas of safety, cost, schedule, and team satisfaction made possible by the focus on flow and integration. He has introduced Lean IPD thinking to countless teams and has been a key resource for 3 clients as they transformed their project delivery organizations to follow the Lean IPD model.
